Yuma’s natural gas services began with Yuma Gas Corporation, a natural gas aggregator purchasing gas from oil and gas operators and selling it to utilities and industrials. Yuma then entered into the pipeline operating segment in 1991 with the acquisition of Texas Southeastern Gas Company, a gas distribution company, which served 11 cities and 15 industrials in 8 Texas counties. Yuma then expanded its operational capability in 1995 with the creation of Texas Southeastern Gas Gathering Company, an intrastate gas pipeline company, serving natural gas producers in Texas and Louisiana. Texas Southeastern Gas Marketing Company was also formed in 1995 to provide direct marketing of natural gas on behalf of natural gas producers and shippers.
