Mr. Syed graduated with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering in 1999 from Texas A&M University, obtained an M.S. in Finance from the University of Houston in 2008, and will soon begin the Executive MBA Program at Rice University. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Syed was an Intern Engineer for Seagull Energy Corporation’s Offshore Reservoir Engineering Group. After obtaining his degree, he worked for a year as a Reservoir Engineer Trainee for Ocean Energy, Inc. on the company’s Asset Management Team. In 2000, Mr. Syed joined  Noble Energy, Inc., where he served as a Reservoir Engineer in the Rockies and Mid-Continent business units, the Gulf Coast Business Unit, and the International Group, focusing on South America. He also served for several years as a planning consultant for Noble’s Strategic Planning & Environmental Analysis.  Mr. Syed joined Yuma in 2009.  (Experience:  10 years)
